It’s great you’ve got such an early start ! 
The plant nursaries often have (and supermarkets) little chilli plants as ornamentals,bright red or orange,purple or yellow chilli laden plants that also have a nice bit of fire to their fruit.Not sure what sort they are.
Growing your own would be very satisfactory .

That’s such a lovely sight to see, Robert!
It’s too early to grow anything for us here.
We could start something inside here, and then put it outside at the end of May. We’d have to wait until the very end of May, as we can still have frost, even then.
We have a very short growing season here in Wisconsin.
