I’m planning to be a vegan for a few months for weight and health. As I’ve been looking around about what meals to have each day in preparation I see there isn’t much variety and it seems hot meals have to be made from scratch.

Do you have any hot meal ideas that are vegan? Like sausages, burgers, satisfying sandwiches and curry etc? What about lunchbox ideas?

For protein, organic non-GMO tempeh is available from Lightlife.

What about lunchbox ideas?
Check out on the internet “vegan buddha bowl” - it’s the idea of a bowl where you put several bunches of stuff and then you mix them together to make a salad or just put the dressing on top and eat it. E.g. of bunches - baby spinach, red beans, cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley, sweet corn, nuts (any kind you like but raw nut roasted and salted). Mix them all up or not, put salt, lemon juice (or vinegar but vinegar is packed with sugar unfortunately) and extra virgin oil of your taste (or any oil you like) and then eat.

That’s a very good idea. I remember reading about them many years ago.

I’ve seen tempeh before but never knew what it was. Do they sell to the UK? I use to be able to buy massive boxes of tofu for so cheap until I moved.

There is a whole wonderful vegan cuisine most of us never imagined.

How you seen FullyRawKristina on youtube? She makes things like cakes out of raw vegan ingredients.

Online stores sell to the UK. Asian supermarkets will have lower prices (there is a brand of organic tempeh called Yakso).
