I want to say, I’m not going to read every single story on this but on reading the below coverage by the BBC which IMHO, is probably better or as good as any, I find this allegation to be questionable but that’s for all of us to decide.

The last paragraph at link, that he, Paul Rusesabagina, exaggerated what he did, is something I have heard before.
The terrorism charge sounds weak to me but let’s just hope he, like anyone else, can get a fair trial.

A man who inspired a Hollywood film about the 1994 Rwandan genocide has been arrested for leading “terrorist movements”, officials say.
Paul Rusesabagina, a Hutu, became well known after Hotel Rwanda depicted his efforts to save hundreds of Tutsis at his hotel during the genocide.
He later launched an opposition party, which had an armed wing based in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
