How are Catholics Saved? Also about living the Faith

How are Catholics saved and what must they do after being saved.
 
Catholics have been saved, are being saved, and hope to be saved. Our salvation is solely by the grace of God, through faith in Him. We initially get this grace at baptism, where all sin and temporal punishment is wiped away and we are made children of God. Our works justify us in His eyes, and help us to grow in love and faith in Him. Our faith and our works, then, go hand in hand as we work towards salvation in the present. We do not presume that we are saved in the sense that our salvation is guaranteed and will never be revoked, rather we submit ourselves to Him in confidence that He wills our salvation and the only thing that could get in between that is ourselves.

Are these good works that justify you because of your faith? they are your Faith; good works are a result of your faith?
 
I would say yes and no. Anyone is capable of good works, whether they’re an atheist or a Christian. Good works on their own, however, are empty, and faith without works is dead. I am capable to decide to not do the right thing despite of my faith, but my faith may help me do good works when I want to do otherwise. Does that make sense?
 
But when you do your works that justify you. Is it based on your love of God and God’s love for you?

I would say it’s based on my love for God. I love Him, so I do what He wills.
 
so works that are begotten from the Faith, loving as God has loved you?
 
If we love God properly He promises to save us. His Word is solid.

Christ said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

Christ also said the two greatest commandments are Love God and Love others. On these two all the law depends.

God gave us Free Will. Without Free Will we cannot freely love God and others. We can fool ourselves by just going through the motions without any real commitment from our Heart.

We have the 10 Commandments and many more commandments. For example:
  1. The Bread of Life Discourse.
    • John Chapter 6: 22- 71 Especially 53-58
  2. The Lord’s Supper
    • Matthew Chapter 26: .26-28
    • Luke Chapter 22: 19-20
    • Mark Chapter 14: 22-24
    • 1 Corinthians Chapter 11: 23-32
  3. Gospel of Matthew Chapter 6 12-15
    forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
    and do not subject us to the final test,*
    but deliver us from the evil one.
    If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
  4. Christ’s First Appearance to His Disciples after His Resurrection:
    • John Chapter 20: 21-23:
How strongly do we believe and order our lives according to such commandments listed above?

Short answer:

By Being Sacramentally Baptized and NOT dying in Mortal sin: 1 John 5: 15-16 & John 20:19-23

It’s what we confess. Whether Nicene Creed or Apostles Creed, they describe what we believe.

Remain in that profession of faith till the end of this life, and die in the state of grace, (no mortal sin on one’s soul) a Catholic will be saved.

Re: AFTER being saved,
one needs to remain in a saved status (in a state of grace) till the end of life on this side of eternity
