I remember a story I heard about The little flower,Saint Teresa. She and all the nuns did there Rosary every day,and every day the nun sitting behind her would make alot of noise with her rosary beads hitting the wooden pew.
Teresa would feel unable to concentrate on the prayers,but never said anything. One day after the rosary, she got up to received Holy Communion,and while she was on line she was thinking how annoyed she was. Thats when God spoke to her heart, and told her to either forgive, or turn around and don’t receive Holy Communion.
From then on, Teresa always put on a smile for that nun at every chance she had, even though she was still annoyed. When Teresa died,the little nun who made all that racket was sobbing uncontrollably,when Mother Superior came over to her and said,Sister,why are you taking this so badly? The nun answered, WHY?, DON’T YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHE LOVED ME?
Even if you don’t particularly like a person,it doesn’t mean you can’t love them for God’s sake. Many times in life,we don’t realize what a simple smile can do for someone. It’s a wonderful way to show our love for God,by the way we love our neighbor. “Many Blessings and Peace to All”…Robert Charbel…
