How are wives to submit to their husbands?

I would like to know what the Catholic Church’s teaching is on a wife’'s submission to her husband. Are we to turn over complete control to our husband, as Gen. 3:16 says, “…he will be your master.” Some versions say …“and he shall rule over you”.

I have never truly understood this and I am in a relationship that the man wants complete control in the Biblical sense…
