Does the Islamic faith consider humanity redeemed from original sin?
In the Islamic faith, how does someone reach everlasting life?

for the first Question, there is nothing as original in Islam, Prophet Adam pbuh committed a sin, he asked Allah (swt) for forgiveness and he forgave him and his wife (Eve). And no one is held responsible for the actions of others, every human being will be judged on what he did, not what his father or his son did.
“**Say: "Shall I seek a lord other than Allâh, while He is the Lord of all things? No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing**." (Qur’an 6:164)
"**Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allâh (i.e. The Oness of Allah, with no other partners) and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve **." (Qur'an 2:62)
Believe in God one true God without any partner and prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the messenger of God. And do good deeds.Does the Islamic faith consider humanity redeemed from original sin?

“But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command.”
Mohamed peace be upon him, was the last messenger sent by God. To believe in his message means to the believe in the message of God (which is the truth)…and to deny his message means to reject the truth.Thanks.
Why does someone need to believe in Muhammad(pbuh) to get a goodly reward?
Thanks, Do you take that statement to be true on faith alone?Mohamed peace be upon him, was the last messenger sent by God. To believe in his message means to the believe in the message of God (which is the truth)…and to deny his message means to reject the truth.
I dont understand what you mean by “faith alone” If you mean that i believe it blindly, then no. My brain wont let me. Alhamdulilah, Islam makes sense. When i read the Quran, i can not comprehend how anyone who understands arabic can say it is from other then the Creator himself. It baffles me the way someone can reject the truth found in it. Alhamdulilah. THAT blessing is from GOD…it is through His guidance that He kept my heart open to it.Thanks, Do you take that statement to be true on faith alone?
