How big is the traditionalist movement?

Traditional Catholics are not the same thing as traditionalist Catholics. As a working definition for this thread, Traditionalists are those who regularly attend the TLM, are dubious/skeptical/doubtful about Vatican II, maintain and practice a pre-Vatican II faith, etc. Merely traditional Catholics are those who, though fully loyal to the Pope and believe in the infallibility of Vatican II, nevertheless maintain traditional practices.

I saw a poll where 14% of American Catholics considered themselves charismatic, which made me wonder: how big is the traditionalist movement? What percentage of American Catholics would be fairly considered traditionalists?

And here’s the big question: what percentage of traditionalists fully accept Vatican II in all of its infallibility and authority?

You can measure by numbers. You can measure by intensity. How many Novus Ordo Catholics love the New Mass with the same intensity as Traditionalists love the Old? Who would die for the Mass of their choice? Who would even speak of such a thing? Who would die for the Mass of Paul VI? Who would die for the Mass of Pius V? That’s what matters here. That is what will win the day. Maybe not today. Tomorrow though. A love that will die never dies.
