Thankfully, I met a young woman who sincerely wants to steer her life in a holy direction but she confided and disclosed in me that she cares much shame. She did not provide particular details as to why, but she admitted to previously living a unholy lifestyle that she constantly struggles to ward off. She believes the Catholic Church is the truth and is currently church-shopping if that is what you call it. She has not fully committed to being Catholic. She attends nondenominational Christian services. She has expressed a desire to be re-baptized. She was christened and confirmed in the Catholic Church though. She is hoping and looking for a church that will erase her of her sins. Apparently, her past previous has gained her very poor reputation and many do not trust her. She sincerely regrets her mistakes but I guess dealing with the consequences as she told me, can be quite overwhelming. Wasted years on meaningless pursuit of pleasure. She attends Catholic mass as well and reads her bible and prays. She cannot shake off all her guilt and shame. She is very young and she confided she wishes she were an atheist so her convictions were not so strong. Very sensitive soul with a strong sense of right and wrong.
