How can I have a strong belief in the Saints?

Hey. I’m starting to have doubts as to if the words of the saints are true. I wonder if the words of the saints were purposely changed to make people feel good, if everything is lost in translation, or if the writings of the saints were added purposely. I wish that I can’t have doubts. Scrupulousity is difficult.

Scrupulousity is difficult.

Scrupulosity is also not rational. Therefore, seek help from your regular spiritual director who I assume is your pastor. If you aren’t under the care of a priest for scruples, please talk to your pastor.

Please talk to your pastor and your pastor should approve any spiritual reading material due to your scruples.

Keep in mind that the same was being said about the Old Testament books by all kinds of scholars and linguists before the 1950s. That people changed the stories over the centuries, especially Christians, to make it look like Christ was being prophesied. Then the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls validated that the texts we have are pretty much the same than at least the 1st century.
