Hi all!

There are two Sisters who have helped tremendously and who have been more than kind to me. I want to thank them somehow, but I’m not sure how I would be able to. I know that they have made vows and I don’t want to put them in a position where they aren’t able to accept something. Would getting them cupcakes or something like that be okay??

Something they can share with others in the convent might be good, so cupcakes would work. You might also consider having a Mass offered for their intentions.

Find a charity they work in or do. Maybe you can offer some gift for some work they do, like an Apostlate or Mission.

My dear Franciscans love going to dinner…and their favorite place is our home…its as much a treat for us as for them.

I’ve brought baked goods to convents before. It always went over well.

Also if you have a place where Eucharistic Adoration is offered, you could go offer up an hour or two for their intentions. Sometimes these places have little cards you can fill out to give to them, to show them that you prayed for them. I did this for a couple of Carmelite priests and both seemed happy 🙂

I’m sure they’ll love anything that comes from the heart. May the dear Lord bless and keep you!

Maybe like an Adoration and a Potluck following? Be it the Sister’s bring nothing to the potluck, but being open to good taste and flavor. Maybe get together with some friends, and sport the event. But after Adoration.
