How can oral Tradition be a source of Church doctrine when the Catholic Church has not officially recognized even one oral Tradition?

Dear B,

Before we had the New Testament all the Church had was the Old Testament and Sacred Tradition. We know of Saints Joachim and Ann, the parents of Mary, through Sacred Tradition. This is also true of St. Veronica who recieved the image of Christ’s face as she ministered to Him during His passion. The fact that He fell several times is another example. Calling the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity is not found in Scripture. The word “Trinity” came from the Catholic Church’s Sacred Tradition, although it is a word that is accepted and used by most other Christians.
