I live in a small town and the priest here seems to be impeding worship rather than encouraging it at times. Instead of an hour of Eucharistic adoration he began limiting it to a half hour, now twenty minutes. He is frequently changing Mass times so that the times listed in the bulletin change week to week, and even then he is unable to keep this schedule. At times it seems as though he is suffering from depression, and he seems to have obsessive compulsive disorder. It seems to be getting worse. In fact, he was always intent on getting his own way, but it seems the more he gets his own way, the more restless he becomes. There is no one in a position of authority to discuss this with here, and in my prayer life, the Holy Spirit seems just to want me to keep praying for him. It’s really hard to watch! Any advice?
