Seriously, the article reminds me of other subtle, long winded attacks on Catholic belief and practice. In the interests of maintaining balance, the article’s author should also cite St. Dominic, St. Bonaventure, St. Alphonsus, St. Louis de Montfort, St. Therese, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Padre Pio and Blessed John Paul II–just to name a few–who maintained an intense devotion to The Blessed Virgin.

I.offer my prayers to Jesus through Mary by addressing Our Lady directly, since She is the purest and surest means of gaining Our Lord’s loving attention. Every “Ave Maria” that I pray redounds a hundredfold to God’s glory through Our Sovereign Lady’s powerful intercession! : )

Seriously: that nonsense about Britain being Christianized before Saint Augustine`s time is also propagated by the SDAs, through the writings of EG White. She claimed that Augustine and co crushed the original “Bible believing” Christians.

Any group that calls themselves Orthodox and allows posting of photographs of their ‘Church’ which is a mish mash of catholicism and orthodoxy , with no hint of whom their clergy are with the exception of this bishop , are neither Orthodox or Catholic .

Run away from them and talk seriously with your Spiritual Director
 
Look at that picture closely. There’s a big thermometer of the porch - looks to me like it’s hot as hell where they are.
