Fascinating article. Explains some of why it’s so hard for some women to leave abusive relationships.

I wonder if any of these insights can be applied to liberals being so terrified of Trump’s presidency? The reaction has certainly been out of proportion. They are isolated, in that many don’t interact with people of other opinions. They are fearful of the future. And we see that a whole country can be terrorized like that, such as in the case of North Korea.
