Sort of. But the connections between Anabaptists and what we now call Baptists are quite thin. One of the earliest Baptists, John Smyth, lodged with a Mennonite (the largest and most important Anabaptist group), but did not ask the Mennonite to baptize him. Instead, Smyth baptized himself.
