I was just wondering how did it happen that the earth was populated with just Adam and Eve. Did their children have to marry and procreate with their own siblings? If so, when did incest become a sin and how is that rectified. It doesn’t seem that God would allow something like that to take place and then condemn it after it has served His purpose of creating a nation of people.
I’m sure I’m just taking things too literally but, my husband questions me about things like this and I don’t know how to answer., Including, if there was just Noah and his wife and their children with their wives at the time of the great flood- and all other human life was destroyed- how did we get so many different races (oriental, african, indian, etc). Wouldn’t all of the children look like their parents?
