How did you discover the Church Fathers?

I’m a convert from Protestantism. The Church Fathers seem to be a common impetus for people to become Catholic, however, I have to admit that I know very little about them.

How did you learn about the Church Fathers? Were there books that you read or any talks you recommend? I would like to begin to fix this blind spot in my knowledge of the Faith.
 
They are part of Catholic tradition. You can start by reading the Apostolic Fathers by Ehrman.
