How do Catholics interpret the Book of Revelation?

I think I understand what you are saying, and would probably agree with it, except I would say that Christians have to look at Jesus Christ first, and not what is expressed in the Old Testament.

In other words, Christians don’t primarily look to the Old Testament to interpret or understand Christ, but rather, look to Christ in order to properly understand or interpret the Old Testament.

Very well said! When looking at the OT prior to viewing it through the Chrisitan lense, we make the same mistake as the Jews made before the New Covenant, and that is interpreting the OT in a carnal sense and not the deeper meaning.
