I have never heard of easy jet and I am
not good with doing things like that over the internet either. I don’t even like the
patient portal at my doctor’s office or
creating online accounts for cable or
other utilities.

I have not been through this process myself—the last time I traveled on easyjet was at least fifteen years ago and I checked in at the airport the day I flew. However, there’s an explanation on their Web site, including an explanatory video (that I have not viewed). From what I can gather, it is simpler to use their app to do this.

However, I don’t think online check-in is required. You should be able to check in at the airport on the day of departure.

If the info provided at the link below doesn’t help with online check-in, you can chat with them directly between 8am and 8pm every day by clicking on the “Let’s chat” button at the bottom of the page.

Hope this helps.

That is covered under “Cabin bag only?” in the first screen shot. As long as your backpack isn’t larger than 56x45x25cm including all handles and wheels, you can bring it on as cabin (hand) luggage. If it’s larger than that it will have to be checked in and travel in the luggage hold. easyjet may charge extra for this, since no hold luggage is included in your fare.

Side note: I strongly suggest you block out the date of travel, seat number and departure/arrival times from your second screen shot. This visible info could make it easy to identify you.

What does that mean no hold luggage? can I take a suitcase? I’ve never booked my own flight before my mum used to do it for me but she passed away

Hold luggage is checked in at the desk before you go through the security area. It is transported in the cargo hold, so you won’t have access to it during the flight. It is returned to you after arrival in the baggage claim area of the destination airport.

“No hold luggage” means that your fare does not include any checked-in bags. You can probably arrange to bring bag(s) that will not travel with you in the passenger cabin, but it will cost extra. In this case, the airline will charge per bag, and there are size and weight restrictions. Contact easyjet for their specific policy.
