How do I convert from Oriental Orthodoxy to Catholicism?

As an infant I was baptized in an Oriental Orthodox church and received my first holy Communion there. But I always found myself to be interested in Catholicism and always enjoyed Mass in the nearest Catholic church with my mother who is Catholic. I know that I can receive holy Communion in the Catholic Church without having to be Catholic, but don’t want to feel as an outsider when I go there on Sundays. So what do I need to be a full-fledged member of the Church?
 
Talk to the pastor of the Catholic church where you’ve been receiving Communion. It should be noted though that Eastern and Oriental Christians entering communion in the Catholic Church usually are enrolled in the Eastern or Oriental church in communion with the Holy See that “corresponds” to their church of origin. It is not absolutely required, and you would still be free to attend the local Roman Catholic church with your mother and receive the sacraments there. But if your Oriental Christian heritage is important to you, it may be something to discuss with the pastor.
