How do I further explain what we believe?

I’m trying to walk boyfriend through our beliefs but I’m kind of stuck I explained to him about the creed and why we believe in the creed and that God loves us as much as him. I also explained about our beliefs in how we feel that our souls will go to one of three places at the time of our death heaven with God, hell and that we would be separated from Him and purgatory how we feel our souls will be cleansed of the sins that we still have at the time of our death and then we will go to one of the other two places depending on where god wants us to be. I’m stuck on how to explain the rest of our beliefs and i don’t want to make a mistake or tell him the wrong thing. Can anyone help or have any suggestions or advice?

I never heard of a soul in purgatory being sent to hell. Aren’t they all called ‘holy souls’ as they will end up in heaven, eventually?
