How do I get my church to offer another daily Mass?

Let me start off by saying that I love going to Mass on Sundays. This was not always the case. As a child, Mass was not my favorite event. Being in Catholic school all week was quite enough. Now, at age 35, I am finding I can’t go enough. My church offers Mass daily at 9 AM, Saturday at 4 PM, and several Masses on Sunday. I would love to go to Mass during the week but being a teacher does not make this possible. Why don’t churches offer a later evening Mass during the week? At least one in the middle of the week (Wednesday) would be great. Who do I speak to about this?

You would need to speak with the church’s pastor about it. But before you do that, why don’t you see if there are other Catholic churches in your area with a daily Mass that fits your schedule? When I’ve missed morning Mass here at Catholic Answers, I usually go to a nearby parish that offers a 5:30 PM daily Mass, but it is not the same parish that I go to on Sundays.
