How do I impress on someone to stay for the Final Blessing?

I know someone who always exits the Church after she receives Communion. And moreover, she is a daily communicant! Does she know something I dont with regard to the Final Blessing? She’s a very holy lady, so I cringe at the thought of trying to tell her she should stay for the Final Blessing.
 
Why not tell the priest your concerns, and ask him to correct her?
 
Depending on the relationship that you have with her, you could consider asking her to do something after mass like go for a coffee or to meet another friend of yours or to help you with something at the church or to join you for a chat with the priest about the homily…etc.

See what she says from there…maybe she has to rush off for some reason…she may let you know.

If she leaves early during the week, maybe shes trying to make it back to work! I know some people that leave before mass ends on sunday some are doing the breakfast after mass? You might want to disscuss this with your priest before you say anything, it might not even bother him. You don’t want any hurt feelings. Am praying for you!
 
Get people who usually stay for final blessing sit at the end of the pews. I am glad to see at my church that no one leaves before final blessing anymore, there are those who do breakfast afterward.

But you know what was shocking to me today was that no one left their pews till the choir was done singing. Usually you have people leaving their pews after Father passes them.

But perhaps you could ask your pastor to mention something in his homily, maybe like the signifigance of the final blessing.

I agree that if it is Daily Mass she may be getting to work. I have to do this often in the early morning. I don’t really like it but work does pay the bills and it is worth the rush to begin the day with Jesus. I would assume the best of someone that they have a reason. I know someone who comes in but has to get home so her husband can get to work. SO if someone was sitting there thinking “I know she doesn’t work so why?”.
