How do I pray for the soul of a non-Christian?

A co-worker recently died who did not believe in Jesus. She thought the Bible was just a book of fables for children. She was a hard worker and a good person. I would like to pray for her soul but I don’t know if there is a specific prayer that would help her now.
 
You can pray for the soul of a deceased non-Christian just as you would pray for the souls of any of the deceased. For private prayer, the rosary or the Divine Mercy chaplet might be good choices. I also recommend asking your local parish or a religious order to say a Mass for the repose of your friend’s soul.
