This blog is disturbing. thecomimgprinceofpeace.blogspot.com/2011/12/what-i-know-who-i-am-i-am-saint-paul.html

Although I guess the guy wants to spread the word of the Catholic Church which is laudable indeed and to be encouraged, he makes claims that he is in fact St Paul reincarnated:

I AM WHO I AM…For I AM, THE - St Paul…!!!
The Apostle to the Gentiles…!!!
In The Flesh Returned.

Obviously this is a fantasy and if you scroll down he says this:

I have even been admitted into Hospital for having schizophrenia and on Medication for 7 Years it has only stopped because of NOW the Truth is coming out.

So he is off his meds and very confused, but I don’t want to just dismiss him outright. I will pray for him but is there any thing I can possibly say to him? Whatever I say, I think it will be hard to reason with him. Take a look at this passage:

THE TRUTH IS I AM ONE OF THE WITNESSES, FROM THE BIBLE - REVELATIONS 11, I AM SAINT PAUL AND, JOHN LENNON IS THE OTHER, HE IS GOSPEL JOHN, THE ONE WHOM JESUS LOVED, HE WAS AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS AT THE CRUSIFIXION AND TOOK MOTHER MARY AS HIS OWN.

Wow! I don’t even know what to say. I wouldn’t want to shatter his obviously fragile ego. He is desperately trying to be “someone.” He is seeking for a sense of higher purpose but he is crossing the line in lifting himself up as “the authority of God” or something like that.

He is obviously mentally unbalanced but he also may be under spiritual attack. This is a very delicate matter.

Short answer: Don’t. He’s obviously delusional; nothing you say to him will get through. It’s going to take therapy and probably a boatload of medication for him to come back to reality. Don’t waste your time.

No. Of course not. How kind of you to want to, though. The prayers will help him more. Pray that he lives long enough to get better. He’ll never get well, but with time, he can improve quite a lot. God bless him very much, and you.

I guess I’ll just pray for him then. Such a shame. If he put that much devotion into his crazy little world, imagine what he could do if he was well.

Probably quite a bit if he’s still that dedicated. Hopefully he seeks out the help he needs; but yeah, praying for him is probably all you can do.

This. You are not in a position to help him with his mental issues. Prayer is the best option. Pray that those responsible for his medical and mental care may fulfill their responsibilities and that he may be open to receiving their help.

I wouldn’t respond to him considering that he is either out for a laugh, or he is mentally unstable. Some of the things he says, other than what you mentioned, are doctrinally incorrect. He mention that he will marry an angel and have kids after he passes. The bible says there will be no marriage in heaven (if that’s where he would in fact go). He says that his soul is eternal and ours is not. None of our souls are eternal, only that of God. We have immortal souls, which is different than eternal. He is a false prophet that is most likely mentally unstable with delusions of grandeur. There will be no getting through to him since he is already so far gone. I believe prayer, and possibly psychiatric help, are the only options.

This is not worth your time or effort. Stay away and pray for him.
