Am needing spiritual and practical advice. I have permanent custody of my 10 year old grandson, He is a true blessing but is struggling emotionally with attachment issues.
Now the very serious problem. My daughter, who has by-weekly visitation, is a practicing Wicca and has told me that she fully intends on teaching this evil to my grandson. He came home from his last visit saying that he wants a zodiac symbol of Leo tattooed on his arm, “worships” the sun (not Son) and his “element” is Fire. He absolutely loves this stuff and is believing everything she is telling him.
I have already placed him under the protection of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary and of course I am praying, but without speaking ill of his mother to him (which I have never done) how do I show/teach/prove that the Wicca “faith” is evil disguised as a peaceful nature loving religion?
I fear for him on many levels. Emotional and Spiritual. I was told that he will grow out of this, but my daughter who is now 26, started to believe in wicca starting at age 12, so I know that there is a real possibility that he may not just outgrow this.
I Love my grandson and want only to protect him and raise him in a solid faithfilled Catholic home.
