Forexample the inquisitions and crusades.
:hmmm: No offense hasantas, I think you need do a little research of the real history of the Crusades in order to realize the real cause of it. You have just shot yourself in the foot with that question.

Did you know that Jerusalem never belonged to the Moslems or the Turks in the first place?

Did you know that after the Moslems & the Turks conquered most of the Middle East before finally capturing Jerusalem, the Christians were barred from pilgrimages to the Holy Land ever since? (Surely you don’t think that the Moslems & the Turks invaded these lands with a pen.)

Did you know that the Holy Sepulchre was desecrated & turned into a mosque?

Did you know that the Moslems & the Turks were advancing into the heart of eastern Christendom before the Crusaders finally took up arms to go defensive & offensive in order to preserve Christendom?

The above was just scratching the surface about the first Crusade. I can go on about the following Crusades if you like but I rather leave it for a different thread. I tell you…it won’t be pretty if you realize what was the cause of it all…
Holy Spirit is not property of Christians as they suppose. Do not be selfish.
Yet we are accused here of being selfish…

facepalm My apologies Martin for quoting with the wrong name. I was supposed to be quoting hasantas…

My personal belief of Jesus, keeping to the original question, is that he was a failed apocalyptic prophet with some compassionate ideas about how humans should treat each other. Because of the intolerance of others, he met a sorry and tragic end.

Unfortunately, not much has changed in the world, as far as intolerance goes.
