Hi,

I begin with a good study Bible – the Harper Collins Study Bible, the Jerusalem Bible, the New Oxford Annotated Bible, the Navarre Bible, among others. You may note that I include Catholic study Bibles in my list.
That is good. By the way, I am a Catholic, but I own a few Protestant Bibles myself. I use the NRSV-CE, Douay Rheims and NAB (Catholic); and the KJV, NASB, and NIV (Protestant) in my Bible studies.

As a baby Christan i never pick up the habit of reading bible, daily i do it when i am feeling down and dry in spirit. However it helps to calm my emotion down once i start reading it…😉

Well i read the bible as a whole chpt then a single verse to understand what is say. I have a OKJ, NKJ, Jerusalem and a God’s word bible. I usually read NT which is more easy to understand , however when reading OT i might need to find some concordance around to help me interpret the whole chpt in summary, As for Book of revelation which post the most difficult to understand compare to the rest, which i am taking a personal bible class given by a former Anglican priest.
