How do we consecrate our marriage to Mary?

Hello,

My fiance and I will be wed this Saturday the 18th.  A good friend of our parents asked if we would be consecrating our marriage to Mary immediately following the signing of the register.  

We think this maybe a good idea for us but don't know much about it.  What is involved...etc..  Can you provide any info, advice, help?  Is this a good time to do it??

 Our priest won't be able to be contacted until late Fri.... 

  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tony,

Here is the act of consecration. You can modify it to apply to your marriage rather than to one person. It’s a good thing to do, but you are not obliged to do it.
