How do we properly dispose of Catholic sacramentals and statues?

I have a 2 foot crusafix and 2 foot statue of the Virgin Mary that were blessed and resided in a church over 75 years ago. Both were given to my mother years ago 70 years ago. We want to properly dispose of these 2 items. What is the appropriate way to do this?
