How Do We Show Killing is Wrong by Killing?

Well, how?

I’m starting this thread with the following arguements in mind:
  1. Capital punishment is good, because it does away with bad.
  2. Abortion is good, because it makes life more livable for the mother.
Personally, i feel the greatest punishment for a person,rather than killing them, is to keep them in solitary confinement for the rest of their life. What greater Hell could there be? I know someone will say, “the real thing.” People repent, and who are we to judge?

Abortion, aka murder for convenience. This sin covers many bases-murder, sexual immorality, lust, laziness, lack of self-control, need I write more? Again, who are we to judge-the crime may be wrong, but wouldn’t the true crime, in both cases, be to act in a hateful and vengeful manner, wit the pagan mentality of an eye for an eye. (Don’t dispute this-I know the Hebrews said the same, but I’m quoting the Persians and the Code of Hammurabi.)
