How do we understand that God came from nothing?

Hi,

We don’t understand that God came from nothing–and we don’t believe it either. That is an impossibility. Existence cannot come from non-existence. God has ALWAYS existed. WE were nothing before He created us. But HE is eternal in that He always was and always will be. This is what we believe as Catholics.
