I love to write. I love to research topics. In fact, a lot of things that I might type on the computer, I’ll write down in a notebook first. This is something I legitimately like doing. But, I find myself so exhausted when I do it. I don’t want to force myself to do something, but at the same time it’s something I enjoy doing, but can’t do because I’m exhausted from doing it. I don’t know if any of y’all know what I mean. What is it that you do to help you with your exhaustion and to prevent it?

I would say drink coffee, but I believe you are already a pathological coffee drinker. :coffee::coffee::coffee:

I’ll have you know, I’ve had zero coffee today. Tea, on the other hand…

I listen to my body and mind. When I am overly fatigued, I will to to bed and rest.

Is this fatigue related to just this particular task? Or are you tired a lot.

Are you eating right and exercising and getting fresh air?

If it’s just that one task, then do it differently. Do you have to write it down by hand? Is there another way to do the task?
Or maybe schedule breaks for yourself.

I’m not really tired a lot, because I don’t always want to go to sleep, but I am exhausted a lot.

Yes! That was actually something I was really worried about doing what I was traveling.

I don’t have to write it by hand, but I’ve been doing it that way my whole life and it’s not easy for me to change something like that. It’s also a lot easier to write notes on something next to what I write down in a notebook, than on Word.

Okay—if you’re exhausted “a lot”, you know you have to see a doctor 🙂

Don’t say the d word, I’ll have you know my father died in a hospital.

Take regular breaks getting outside walking,or like me gardening 😅 And listening to music.
And make sure you stay hydrated, that coffee cycle can be tricky.

I’ve got some bottles to fill up with water, so I’m generally good at that.

Nothing you did, I’ve just never been very fond of doctors or hospitals. Also, every time I go to the doctor when I have what I think is a legitimate problem, they tell me they can’t find anything wrong with me and that other than being a little overweight, I’m very healthy.

I prefer writing in notebooks too.

To prevent fatigue, I write at intervals. A page a day. In a year you’ll have 365 pages. A bit more and it’ll be 400. A respectable sized novel.

Unfortunately my daily schedule does not allow me to write regularly, and I haven’t touched my book in three months. I plan to get back to it after I finish this semester of college in a week.
