Whether it be addressing an archbishop in person or by writing that archbishop a letter, what is the proper way to address him?

If he is also a cardinal, a Roman Catholic archbishop is addressed as “Your Eminence.” If he is not also a cardinal, he is “Your Excellency.” Some may say that an archbishop should be addressed as “Your Grace,” but that is an Anglican custom not generally observed in the Catholic Church.
