How do you know if you are called to marriage?

Is it like something you feel or just know? How do you know you are called to marriage or called to another vocation or just called to be a chaste single person?

How do you know you are called to marriage

You meet someone that you like and together you both discern marriage.

You meet with your Diocesan Vocation Director or enter a period of discernment with a Religious Order.

Well, anyone not married should already be doing this.

Anyways, there’s no one size fits all answer. I think the specifics of your situation would best be handled by your Priest and/or Counselor.

If you are perfect or close to perfect in the virtue of chastity (it is easy and pleasant to avoid serious 6th Commandment problems for an indefinite period) then you likely are being called to be celibate, which is what Christ Himself indicates. That might be a better way of looking at it.
