The Eternal Word Television Network has lots of good programs on it. How do listen or watch it?

Thanks to the Internet I get to watch EWTN, listen to archived tapes, read texts etc…

It also allows me to pick up talks given by other uplifting and challenging priests.

Deo gratias.

Yes. I think it’s pretty cool. I have it up in my hallway just in case JWs and LDS come by. LOL

The option - I watch EWTN via satellite dish - should have been available.

I listen with my ears and watch with my eyes! Ho ho ho! Okay that was corny.

I’m addicted to EWTN. I have dishnetwork, so I was forced to get another satellite to be able to watch it. Too bad they line up all those other religious channels together. Though I am amused by watching the Evangelical cry, look into the camera, say he spoke to Jesus that morning and Jesus said “SEND ME YOUR MONEY FOO!” I used to Watch it in NY on cable. I love John Martignoni on the Open Lines. Smooth, patient, calm and just darn smart.

I don’t watch much television and don’t have it on the radio. However I do have to do 30 minutes a day onthe Nordic Trac [rehab for heart by-pass] so run the audio tapes.

WIth no Catholic radio in Cleveland, you thus can only listen to ETWN Radio over the Internet or shortwave. And since I won’t get cable/ or have a tv in fact, I like the convience of having the Internet. And when the cable does go out…I have prayer or other CD’s, audio cassettes to listen to.

satellite provider now carries EWTN along with a whole bunch of spanish-language programming. about time.

EWTN on cable as I get up and get ready for work

EWTN on radio in the car on the way to work

EWTN streaming radio or tv in the background on my computer at work

No EWTN on the way home in the car – the rosary during drive time puts me to sleep :o

EWTN on cable as I cook supper

At dinner, we often discuss EWTN shows
EWTN on cable as I do the dishes
EWTN on cable in the evening w/ the family most nights (unless dh really pleads for CSI or a special secular news show.)

Don’t know what I would do without EWTN.

I do not think it is available in Australia, I have heard of it I presume it is a Christian thing or is it Catholic…

Eternal Word Television Network. It’s a Catholic network available all over the world by television, cable tv, shortwave, radio, and on the internet, depending on where you live. go to www.ewtn.com and try it out.

We don’t have cable (we are cheapskates) and we don’t receive Catholic radio.

I listen to the audio archives on www.ewtn.com

In fact I’m downloading and listening to a series on Padre Pio currently.
