I know there’s no right or wrong way to make a holy hour, but I’m just curious to know what everyone here likes to do during their holy hours. And if you have a certain format that you like to follow, tell me about that too!

Rosary and any of the following: spiritual reading, prayer requests, gospel of the day, pray for vocations . . . —KCT

I usually go in the evening, so I start out with evening prayer from my Magnificat. Then I read out of a book on devotion to the Holy Eucharist. Next, I say my rosary. If there’s any time left in the hour, I simply sit and pray from the heart.

“At the evening of life, we shall be judged on love” St. John of the Cross

I have always prayed the rosary and said a collection of prayers. But now I try very hard on focusing on a format of loving and adoring Christ first, secondly thanking him then presenting prayers of petition. Meditating on the gospels and finishing with the rosary.
