I have recently purchased the beautiful blue scapular of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This scapular has gold cords and an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with St. Bernadette on one panel. On the other panel there is the letter M with a cross above it and two red hearts below. The scapular came with a silver crucifix and a St. Benedict medal.
What is the proper way to wear this scapular? I don’t know which panel goes in the front or the back. Come to think of it, I can’t tell which is the front and back of the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel either.
