How does a Catholic refer to the Prophet of Islam?

We as Christians are not commanded to state the PBUH when we mention his name. This is what muslims must do, not us Christians.
Never said that we had to.

People really need to start reading not only the full post but read them in context of what they are replying to.
 
BTW, if anyone has an idea: would Muslims be offended is non-Muslims just simply call him Mohammad? After all he is not a living person or it is not like we are addressing him directly.
I can’t speak for everyone but personally I wouldn’t be offended at all if you addressed him by name only.

Thank you. I think that is just being sensible but I am glad to hear it from Muslims. What has been insinuated here by some posters is that Muslims will be offended if non-Muslims address Mohammad without the honorific Prophet or the blessing, peace be upon him (PBUH). If that is true, it really disappoint me and it does not enhance my impression on Muslims. But as I said, I am glad Muslims don’t take that position and most informed Muslim posters like yourself take the reasonable position.
