Do Catholics believe that God only uses Scripture to speak to us? Or perhaps, the Holy Spirit to help us to move in the direction that He wants us to move in? Does He ever speak to us in words? Do Catholics believe that we can have a conversation with Him using our own language? For example, can I ask Him a question and expect that He could answer me in words? I have been told that it is not likely.
