How does "REVELATION" happen?

Does God manifest himself to an individual, or a group of people and talks directly to them? Or does he plant some thoughts into their mind? Sort of intruding into their thoughts? What is the physical process of this “revelation”?

If you think that God speaks directly to you, how do you know that it was really God, and not some “demon”?

Just curious about your thoughts in this matter.

I’l tell you the best way God spoke to me once. And I know if was him. I was being tempted to basically almost doing something. I cried out to God to deliver me and instantly there was no temptation. When in grace. It doesn’t seem to work when in sin. 🤷
 
God speaks to everyone in different ways, the methods are all the same but the truth is that it is what is in your heart that moves you, and that is what guides you, what you need in your heart is the paraclete, and that is who will help you…
 
God reveals Himself to individuals in various ways, this is what faith is.

It may happen by noticing something good in nature or a person and you know God is speaking to you through them.

It may happen that he comes as a Being of Light which fills your entire being.

It may be that He reveals Himself in His creation.

However God reveals Himself, its through love.

God can not be grasped except through love, and absent of love, it is not God.

This that you have said sounds very interesting. Can you describe a little more as to what you mean by “ways” and “methods”? Faith and Knowledge is how God speaks. At least the two basic ways IMO. They go hand in hand.
