How does spiritual direction look like

For those who have a spiritual director, could you please share how a typical meeting looks like? Is it structured? Does it include moments of prayer? Do you normally just go in and share whatever it’s in your heart at the time?

It depends on the style of the director. Often though, it is up to the directee.

“What would you like to talk about?”
“How have you experienced God lately?”
