Do Catholics believe the Holy Spirit constantly lives w/them once they are believers? What is his role? Do they believe Jesus is always with you, or only during the Eucharist?

Catholics do believe the important role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We believe Jesus is always with us. The Eucharist is a concrete union between the Lord and the belivers who receive Him.

If you read the book “The Practice of the Presence of God” by brother Lawrence, a lay brother of Carmlite, a Catholic, you will better understand Catholic’s view on your questions.

My personal Christology is best characterized as a non-Marxist variety of Liberation Theology. Therefore, as I go about my day, I constantly seek to imitate Christ as teacher, preacher and healer, working amongst the down-trodden, in order to ease their suffering, help build up the Kingdom, and promote belief in a common humanity. I feel called to this mission, and literally adhere to Jesus’ example in every instance. I pray to Him constantly, clutching the rosary I keep in my left pocket. This communion as at the forefront of my mind every second of every day.
