As I began to work on the foreground of a painting, I felt very discouraged with the results of my effort, and was considering abandoning the painting.
My husband encouraged me, “It looks okay to me”
He’s very practical, and unwaveringly honest.
I didn’t give up hope thanks to my husband’s encouragement,
now to overcome the procrastination.

There’s a procrastinator’s motto:_
Procrastinators of the world unite…tomorrow

How does your spouse spur you to carry on when you become discouraged!

Ha, I like that saying 🙂
My dad says to mum when she’s worrying to 'shrink it by 75%"
It seems to work

Sometimes Joseph is so complimentary it’s embarrassing.
Just the other day some co-worker asked if I could recommend him for an IT job, as he wants something better in terms of salary, so Joe put me on the phone.
After, Joe forgot to hang up, and I heard their convo about me.
Oh goodness. You’d think I was Mary Poppins, Mother Theresa, and Condoleezza Rica all wrapped in one person! So embarrassing, and I took him to task for it later.
All he said was “but Clare! I LOOOOOOVE you!”

Poor guy, So delusional, so delusional.

He’s incredibly supportive of the work I do and even things I procrastinate about. He says, Rest Clare! Poor girl!

Couch potatoes! UNTIE, I mean UNITE!
🤣🤣🤣

Thank you, I’m kind of sad no one else has posted though.
