I see, just fine, thanks. I also know manipulation and wordsmithing when I see it.

I suspect if you review some of the other threads around here, you will find that the removal of the rails was NOT about CITH, it
was about bringing the congregation and the clergy closer at the Mass.
So show me something from the notes of the Consilium or from a member of the Consilium that wrote the new liturgy that states that reason. I have shown you the thinking of the Consilium. If communion in the hand were to be used then “material’ changes” such as" removal of communion rails" would possibly be necessary. The context of removing the rail was in the discussion of communion in the hand NOT " about bringing the congregation and the clergy closer at the Mass"
And remember the rails are optional because some Bishops preferred kneeling to receive. Apparently, according to you, they must have not wanted to bring “the congregation and the clergy closer at the Mass”. .

If it makes you feel fullfilled to believe that the rails were taken down to facilitate COTH, then be my guest.

You can lead a horse to water…

Personally, I just don’t understand why anyone ever thought it might be necessary to remove a Communion rail to receive Communion in the hand in the first place. After all, the rail doesn’t come up to your chin!
