As the old expression goes: “you don’t need a weatherman to tell you which way the wind blows.”
Human experience teaches us some paths are good and some are bad. I don’t need to have predetermined knowledge to know that someone going down a bad path is going to end up in a bad situation and vice versa. God, who knows more than all human experience combined, surely can anticipate certain things.
In chess the players are always thinking a few moves ahead. Even though nothing is determined a good player can still foresee and influence future moves. God is the ultimate chess player.
