How is Prophecy based on Human Acts Possible if we aren't predetermined?

How can God tell us at one point “person A will do X” if that hasn’t happened yet (for us) and isn’t guaranteed to happen because of A’s free will? Or, how is its being guaranteed compatible with free will?

God is eternal and outside of time. He can see what we will do with our free will before we do it.
 
Re-read Jonah. A prophecy must have two forks, stated or implied. It must say that unless you repent, this will happen. It does not take away your free will. That even applies to Revelation. Mankind has to get it together under the umbrella of living in God’s Perfect Will
 
As the old expression goes: “you don’t need a weatherman to tell you which way the wind blows.”

Human experience teaches us some paths are good and some are bad. I don’t need to have predetermined knowledge to know that someone going down a bad path is going to end up in a bad situation and vice versa. God, who knows more than all human experience combined, surely can anticipate certain things.

In chess the players are always thinking a few moves ahead. Even though nothing is determined a good player can still foresee and influence future moves. God is the ultimate chess player.
