From my weekly RCIA classes at Church, I have learned nothing. I’m not sure the word “catechism” has even been mentioned in the first five classes. I put up with RCIA as penance, and to learn obedience and humility. (opinion)

For actual learning, I use catechismclass.com

5 days a week, 50 weeks a year. Each lesson includes the Mass bible readings for the day, comentary on those readings, readings from the catechism, commentary on those reading, along with a saint for the day, and opening and closing prayers.

In other words, RCIA as it should be. (opinion)

When I went through RCIA…I did not learn anything that I did not already know…to me it was a waste of time.
I wish their was a way to skip RCIA especially if you can prove that you understand the teachings etc. of the CHurch.

i do not know if there is a way to “skip” it, but one can take Catholic catechism online or by mail from Father Oscar Lukefahr.

Yes that they can (take online classes) and as far as I know there is no way to skip it, sadly.
