I noticed that Ohioians had a thread, why not us? I am registered at St Therese but rarely go there. I go to Mother Of God in Covington weekdays with an occasional trip over the river to St Xavier. On Sundays St John in Wilder just up the hill from my house.

I’m a current Kentuckian (though not for long, military). I understand there is a TLM in Covington. All of them are at least 3 hrs from me. You are lucky to have so many choices!

I am in Fort Thomas and attend to St. Thomas. I am interested in dissussions regarding our local church.

i used to be. i went to Thomas More College.

for a while i went to Blessed Sacrament in Ft. Mitchell but would visit other churches too.

I go over there for Eucharistic Adoration in the chapel at least once a week.

Help me whats a TLM?

It is wonderful to have the Adoration Chapel so close and almost ever time I go, there a at least two or three other praying. I can’t help but believe that this is one reason why we have had increases in the number of seminarians studing for the Covington Diocese.

I believe the poster was talking about the Tridentine Latin Mass - Held I believe at the Cathederal (Covington) every Sunday at 12:15.

I also go to the Adoration Chapel, It is wonderful, almost ever time I go there two or three others are also praying. I can’t help but believe that this is a contributing factor to the increase in vocation in the Covington Diocese.

Kentucky here…Southern Ky. near the tenn. line. I go to a little bitty church called St. Joseph’s in Central city Ky. Diocese of Owensboro!

AMEN! That is one very special place!
The Diocese has assigned Father Krebbs to St Johns in Wilder. He came out of retirement. He is one of the true jewels in the Diocese.

Fr. Paul Krebs was the Pastor at St.Anthony’s when I was growing up. I do remember him as a good priest.

Bauerice,

Just curious I had heard that Fr. Krebs was at St. Theresa a while ago. Also it sounds like you are not all that happy with that parish?

I do think Mother of God is one of the most beautiful churches in the region, could art and architecture be the reason why you enjoy attending mass there?

I believe Mother of God is one of, if not, the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Father Hartman is so good at bringing the readings to life. It’s not that I have anything against St Therese, it’s just that I didn’t feel like I fit in. It is so much a “family” parish. I am a single person. The Diocese has asked Father Krebbs to come out of retirement to pastor St Johns because their pastor died in Nov or Dec.
