I know this has been explained to you before but you are focusing on a teaching moment between Christ and the Apostles. Christ is explaining what the Apostles must do to have a valid Mass.Instructions on how they will confect the Eucharist. It doesn’t imply that all Christians must partake of both. Yes it gives us a full sign value but it is not necessary. We receive the full Christ in either species both body and blood.
